Job Description

Cherry Tree Kennels is an animal boarding and day care facility for dogs, cats and other small animals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, animal loving apprentice to join the team to help support with the day to day running of the kennels. You will be walking dogs, washing animals, plus much more.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Animal Care and Welfare Assistant level 2 apprenticeship qualification provided through Haddon Training. Level 1 or 2 Maths and/ or English training for Functional Skills also provided, if required. Where you'll work Handcross Road Balcombe West Sussex UK RH17 6PP

Desirable qualifications Other in: Basic Maths (grade n/a) Standard English (grade n/a) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Organisation skills Customer care skills Team working Patience Other Due to shifts and limited public transport at certain times please ensure you are able to arrive on time.
