Job Description

This role is for our Power & Cooling Engineers who are at the heart of keeping BT's networks operating 24/7 365 days a year. Utilising their expertise and knowledge in both Low and High Voltage systems, alarms, emergency lighting, cooling and UPS they ensure that the BT estate continues to work no matter the circumstances. Starting Salary - £21,840

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work As a Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician, you'll study for a Level 4 apprenticeship with Stoke College. You will be required to attend the College on a block release, Monday Lunchtime to Friday lunchtime. There will be approximately 10 blocks per year and the programme is 3 years in duration. Covered by BT L4 HNC or similar qualification in Engineering and manufacturing maintenance disciplines that fully aligns with the KSBs 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to studying Where you'll work Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, United Kingdom SY1 1TY
