Job Description

We are recruiting at a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities in Nottingham. It is home to 13 residents and located close to the city centre. Our residents require support to remain as independent as possible, whether this be with personal care, meal preparation, household duties, medical appointments or social activities.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Training will include: The 15 Standards as set out in the Care Certificate. A Level 2 Diploma in Care. Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider, for example meeting with the apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace and gathering evidence. Completion of the self-assessment exercise. Training will take place at Linwood House which is home to 13 adults with learning disabilities, situated opposite the Forest Recreation Ground near Nottingham City Centre. Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade Level 1) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
