Job Description

On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will become a qualified Automation and Controls Engineering Technician, providing specialist technical support for the electrochemical and characterisation laboratories for the School of Engineering facilities within the shared Chemistry Building, B30.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Automation and controls engineering technician Level 4 (Higher national certificate) Apprenticeship Standard Training on a weekly day release at College to achieve a higher national certificate (HNC) with an Electrical bias, the training will be delivered by Business Plus at Fareham College, an Ofsted Outstanding College Your training will be delivered Day Release, and you will attend Fareham College The schedule of this day release is to be confirmed Where you'll work School of Engineering, Highfield Campus Southampton SO17 1BJ
