Christie & Grey are a small mechanical engineering company which designs and manufactures anti-vibration isolators and systems for the marine, construction, and industrial sectors since 1914. At our production facility in Tonbridge, Kent, we manufacture onsite our extensive range of isolators using the latest machine tools and design software.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Technician - Toolmaker and Tool and Die Maintenance Technician Functional Skills in maths and English if required Development of knowledge, skills and behaviours required to complete the Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard Qualifications; Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) €“ Toolmaker, Tool and Die Maintenance Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) Where you'll work MORLEY ROAD TONBRIDGE TN9 1RA

Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: X 5 to include English and Maths (grade A*/C 9/4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. About Employer

We are offering the apprentice the chance to learn, develop and apply their taught knowledge in our engineering workshop which uses several manufacturing processes to produce our range of anti-vibration mountings. The apprentice will become an integral part of our workshop team helping us deliver our products worldwide.
