We are looking for a driven individual to join our Customer Service team to assist in delivering an outstanding customer experience as first point of contact. As a customer service parts advisor, you will deliver exceptional customer service, maximise sales opportunities and gain excellent product knowledge. Some of the tasks you will be working on include: Promote good customer relations Identify accurately customer requirements Locate, issue and document the sale of parts to customers and workshops, inspecting for quality prior to supply Maintain and continually improve the quality of service provided to the customer Trained - to receive, inspect and check documentation of all incoming parts Trained - to adequately package material, which is to be despatched from the parts department To carry out any additional duty relative to the parts department as requested Organise stock, maintain order and cleanliness of the department, and advise customers on vehicle parts and accessories The training you will be getting The Apprentice programme will combine on-the-job training, e-learning and webinar delivery with face-to-face module training that is delivered in the workplace with visits from S&B Automotive Academy's Customer Service Account Manager. The Account Manager will also offer support, advice and guidance by monitoring progress using S&B™s customised electronic logbook that both the employer mentor and the apprentice can access anytime. To be considered for this apprenticeship you must have GCSEs, Functional Skills or Key Skills at grade 3/D or above in English and maths (or equivalent), predicated grades are accepted, but applicants will need to complete an initial assessment. Relevant work experience or knowledge is beneficial but not essential. As a result, you will receive the following: Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard Qualification Unit certification in Vehicle Parts (VRQ) Level 1/2 Functional Skills in Maths & English (if not already exempt) What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship Apprenticeships are the best way to kick start your career and provides a structures training programme where you earn a wage while you learn the foundation knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable you to develop into future roles.
