Macfarlane Canine Services are recruiting an Apprentice Dog Care Assistant to work in their thriving Dog Care, Behaviour & Training Centre. Working within the friendly, doggy day care team, this is a fantastic opportunity. Licenced by Fylde Borough Council with the highest possible 5* rating, they are a leader within the dog care industry.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Training will be provided by Myerscough College working towards an Apprenticeship qualification as an Animal Care & Welfare Assistant (Level 2), through a work-based blended delivery programme consisting predominantly of on-site training and assessment within the workplace. Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for level 2 English and Maths prior to taking the end-point assessment. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English & Maths (grade 4 or higher) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
