We are looking for a bright, energetic and enthusiastic Apprentice Engineer to join our team. The role includes the day-to-day support of both engineering and production projects in order to meet the output forecast of Linwave Technology.
Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Engineering Fitter Level 3 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a day release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours. Course outline: Engineering Fitter / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education You will receive the following training in addition to the Apprenticeship Standard: Manual Handling COSHH Environmental Awareness Lean and 5S Awareness Continuous Improvement Product and process-specific practical training In-house training on all company policies and procedures Where you'll work 4 SADLER ROAD LINCOLN LN6 3RS
Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English and Maths (grade A*/9 - C/4) Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Science and 1 other subject (grade A*/9 - C/4) Engineering (grade PASS) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
