Job Description

A Level 2 Apprentice Engineering Operative is required. You will work within the Production Engineering team to ensure smooth running of the factory floor in supporting production engineering activities for machine operatives and external customers. This position is very much hands-on environment. Duties include: manufacturing production tooling, from customer drawings and manufacturing drawings produced by the development engineers.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the L2 Engineering Operative Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group. As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship.
