Job Description

On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will become a qualified Experimental Fluids Technician (Automation and Controls Engineering), providing specialist technical support for the comprehensive wind tunnel and experimental fluid research laboratories in B185 on the Boldrewood Campus, within the School of Engineering.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Automation and Controls Engineering Technician Level 4 Training on a weekly day release at College to achieve a higher national certificate (HNC) with an Electrical bias, the training will be delivered by Business Plus at Fareham College, an Ofsted Outstanding College. Your training will be delivered Day Release, and you will attend Fareham College. The schedule of this day release is to be confirmed. Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
