Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our HGV technician training program. In a safe and nurturing environment, you will work with our well-established team of highly skilled and experienced staff.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Training will be at North Lindsey College where you will access a wide range of available facilities. Day release You will undertake the Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship standard. https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/heavy-vehicle-service-and-maintenance-technician-v1-2 You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or maths if needed. You will undertake both on and off-the-job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English and Math (grade C/4 or above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Logical Team working Initiative Patience Physical fitness Other You must be able to travel to and from work and college. A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
