Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer role with a local company. The successful applicant will be trained to carry out repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site. Repairs and maintenance will be both reactive and planned-in, in accordance with the company plan. You will be expected to work safely and meet the quality standards.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard which includes: Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (skills) Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Operations (knowledge) Functional Skills in maths or English (if required) Learning will take place in the workplace with the need to attend training at NSEGTA premises Where you'll work Hanley Technical Institute 151-153 Marsh Street North Hanley Stoke-On-Trent Staffordshire ST1 5HR

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade A-C / 4) Maths (grade A-C / 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
