McLaren Automotive is seeking an Apprentice Metal Fabricator to join our Prototype Workshop team. You will embark on a hands-on learning journey within our Prototype Workshop facility. This apprenticeship is open to all candidates passionate about the automotive industry, providing a solid foundation for a rewarding career.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Standard Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths English & a practical subject ie Metal Work (grade 4/C and above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Administrative skills Logical Team working Creative Initiative Patience Other Genuine interest in the automotive industry and metal fabrication. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards skill development.
