Job Description

WSG Provalve have 2 apprenticeship opportunities available. The successful candidates will work closely with senior VLV technicians and machinists. Gaining knowledge on parts and products. They will work towards eventually representing WSG onsite with fellow technicians.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work The apprentice will work towards completion of the Level 2 Engineering operative apprenticeship, on the mechanical pathway. The apprentice will complete the following as part of this : - Level 2 Diploma Engineering Operations Skills L2 - Mechanical Certificate Engineering Operations Knowledge L2 - Mechanical The apprentice will attend Castleford College on day release. Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths, English and IT (grade C/4 Equivalent) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Team working Initiative Driven Hands-on Other A lot of manual handling and hand tools used. Outdoor working when on site. Sometimes may be required to work overtime with little notice.
