Job Description

Busy Bees Education and Training have a wide selection of food production chef apprentices throughout the Busy Bees Nurseries. Enabling you to start your career within the catering industry by preparing fresh and nutritious meals alongside government guidance whilst gaining your apprenticeship.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work As an apprentice, you will be working towards a Level 2 Production Chef qualification alongside qualified staff who will show you the ropes You will be assigned a mentor to provide you with support within your nursery, helping you to complete the tasks you need so you can progress in your qualification Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) Where you'll work The Buntings Stowmarket IP14 5GZ

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths and English (grade D / E /2 or FS Level 1) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Number skills Team working Creative Initiative Patience Other Applicant must be able to successfully obtain a DBS if successfully offered the vacancy. This will be payable by the Busy Bees Company
