Job Description

Helping to oversee, maintain & organise a clean, tidy, child-friendly environment. Supervise activities, such as messy play, crafts, & cooking, reading & outdoor/physical pursuits. Working as a team member to provide at all times a safe, caring, stimulating environment for the children, in line with Early Years Foundation Stage.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work The candidate will receive a Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification This training will be conducted primarily at the employer's site/workplace Functional skills in English and maths *If required* First aid The performance coach for this area will visit the learner every 8-12 weeks but the learner will be expected to submit work inbetween this time Where you'll work Dickory Docks Educational Day Nursery Kings Academy Prospect Cockney Hill Tilehurst, Reading RG30 4EX

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths, English and IT (grade 5 or above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Ability to communicate with other team members to ensure children are safeguarded at all times. Enhanced DBS check will be required. We will arrange for a Paediatric First Aid Certification.
