Job Description

Day to day tasks include: Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design Loading raw materials onto the router, at time using a FLT or overhead crane Programming and operating the router safely and efficiently Cleaning and maintaining the router Carry out pre-shift checks Any other warehouse duties that might be necessary You will eventually be required to work quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client. The training you will be getting This is a level 3 Machinist apprenticeship which will delivered over a 4 year period. The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, 2.5 days per week for the first two years as part of the training. What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship there will be opportunity to become a full time CNC/Router Engineer. There will be routes for further development and possible progression on completion.
