Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will be learning the skills knowledge and behaviours to achieve the CNC Machining pathway within the Level 3 Engineering Technician, gaining a full Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard; Engineering technician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education This will be delivered as 3 days in College (during term time) and then the remainder of the working week will be in the workplace. The hours will be 9am - 4pm during College days and then the workplace setting hours will be 8.30 am to 5pm (half hour unpaid unpaid lunch.) Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths and English (grade 4 or C and above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Attention to detail Problem solving skills Number skills Site Safety Awareness Other If we have the right person then we are happy to support any training, we need someone who is invested, interested and has a can-do attitude. It is a practical, hands on job.
