Job Description

Successful candidates will be given a full, well-rounded understanding of the Composites Manufacturing process, both on the shop floor, and departments which are indirectly related to production such as Inspection, Engineering and Estimating.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will study on a Level 3 Composite Technician standard. On completion of this, you will gain: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) During the first year of the apprenticeship, your learning will take place at the University of Sheffield's AMRC Training Centre based at Catcliffe, Rotherham, for an initial block of study on a full-time basis.
