Job Description

A wide-ranging role that encompasses all aspects of modern top fruit, grape and blackcurrant production. Providing experience in a range of tasks using modern farm machinery, including €“ tractor driving, application of fertilizers, operation of multirow sprayers, single row sprayers and a range of other power-driven machinery.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Crop Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Level 2 Awards in: Safe Use of PesticidesOn completion of the pesticides foundation unit above also choose one of the following units: Boom sprayer, mounted, trailed or self-propelled equipment Granular applicator equipment Handheld applicator equipment Level 3 award in Emergency First Aid at Work North Kent College Hadlow Campus 1 day per month Where you'll work MOAT FARM WHETSTED ROAD FIVE OAK GREEN TONBRIDGE TN12 6RR

Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4/C) Maths (grade 4/C) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
