Job Description

The successful applicant will partake in numerous office-based tasks such as processing orders, speaking to suppliers, dealing with customers and the general day-to-day running of the business. We use a network of suppliers to deliver on our behalf, which means our job at head office is to take people's orders, process them to the correct suppliers.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Customer Service Practitioner - Level 2 1 day in college a week Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths & English (grade 4 or above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Administrative skills Other The apprentice would not be asked to do any form of manual labour or work outdoors

We are one of the leading UK equipment hire suppliers, hiring out things like scaffold towers, scissor lifts, diggers, dumpers etc. We act as a broker in that we take an order, give it to one of our suppliers to deliver who will use their own stock and we take the profit in the middle, we do have some of our own in the North East which we deliver ourselves but this will be something the apprentice won't be involved in
