Job Description

Working alongside qualified technicians who will be dealing with all aspects of the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles. Level 3 Apprenticeship. Inspecting and repairing a range of heavy vehicles (HVs) and trailers for dealerships, independent garages and franchise and large fleet operators.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Not only will Apprentices be working and be trained at a HTC garage they will attend City of Bristol College four times a year for two week periods to work towards their Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. An advisor will visit at least every six weeks as part of a close support network to ensure that Apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course. An Apprentice's training includes: Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Standard Functional skills if needed in maths & English Where you'll work Unit 2 Bush Industrial Estate, Standard Road London NW10 6DF

Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English & Maths (grade 4 or above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Customer care skills Problem solving skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Other Interview and start dates are dependent on the needs of the apprentice and business.
