Job Description

The Apprentice will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the department, to ensure all financial and business objectives are met. Duties to include: Assisting the dentist at chair-side, Reception duties. Decontamination duties. Taking telephone calls. Booking appointments. Offering assistance to clients. Clinical and general cleaning within the practice. The training you will be getting Dental Nurse Diploma Level 3 - which has been approved by the General Dental Council as meeting the requirements for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse. Functional Skills Maths and English if required. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date. What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship To be decided upon completion of training e.g. potential employment.
