Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work alongside the dentist. Ideally, you will already have some experience of working in a Dental Practice. Duties will include assisting in the provision and delivery of dental care to patients, reception duties and decontamination/sterilising in the surgery.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 You will attend weekly, off the job training sessions at the Oldham College. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade A*- C/9 - 4) Maths (grade A*- C/9 - 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Non judgemental Patience Physical fitness Calm and confident Positive and flexible approach Other Hepatitis B vaccinations will be essential.
