Interested in digital media? Keen to start a career in digital marketing? This is a unique opportunity to learn about and contribute to the Council's digital presence. You will learn to create high-quality, engaging content that informs residents and promotes the Council's initiatives across various digital marketing channels.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Most of the training will be on-the-job with the Council's Communications team and supported by experienced colleagues such as graphic designers and content specialists. The apprentice will also be working towards the Multi-channel Marketer apprenticeship Level 3 (mainly on-line and on a one-to-one basis) with a local college/training provider. Essential qualifications GCSE in: English (grade 4) Maths (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Customer care skills Number skills Team working Initiative Awareness of business function Literacy Other Note that alternatives to minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and maths will be considered including: GCSE grade C and above in both subjects and Functional Skill equivalents. The apprenticeship lasts 18 months with up to a further 5 months to complete the end-point assessment,
