Job Description

Bambinos have been operating since 1994 and are looking to recruit two level 2 Early Years Apprentices to join the team in their Exeter Quickes Farm branch. The successful applicants will work with children in a group setting with other staff, help with meals and snacks, assist with the care of the children, report to staff any concerns.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work The Apprenticeship in Child Care includes a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification Most aspects of the qualification and training will be delivered at your workplace where you will be supported throughout your training by your employer You will have regular visits every 6 to 12 weeks from your designated assessor who will help you, and monitor your progression throughout your apprenticeship As an additional qualification you will also achieve Emergency and Paediatric First Aid, and a Health and Safety Certificate, along with Internet Safety and Safeguarding Functional Skills in maths and English, if required Where you'll work Quickes Farm Newton St. Cyres Exeter EX5 5AY

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 9-1 equals to A*-G) Maths (grade 9-1 equals to A*-G) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
