Job Description

The right candidate will be expected to use and test equipment and hand tools to diagnose electrical faults and the carry out repairs You will also be checking and testing circuit breakers and, where required you will need to replace them Your job will also consist of carrying out electrical maintenance work. You will learn all about interpreting work instructions and drawings, including schematic diagrams Part of the role will be to connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components You will be accountable for all electrical and general tasks relating to maintenance As well as this, you will have some administrative work to do such as filling in test certificates, time sheets and maintaining records and files and also preparing reports You will travel to various locations for work, working on site indoors and outdoors. And, you will work on ladders and scaffolding so their will be occasions where you will be working at heights
