Job Description

Repair of electric motors, pumps, fans, servomotors, gearboxes & similar rotating electrical equipment. Attend customers' sites to fault find & remove and re-install equipment. Dynamic balancing, welding, machining, servomotor feedback test and alignment along with fitting and electrical skills.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Maintenance and operations engineering technician Level 3 qualification. Apprentices must achieve level 2 English and Mathematics prior to taking the end-point assessment for the apprenticeship if they haven't achieved them on entry.
