Day to day tasks include: Feeding and haying horses Health checks, hoof check and rug changes Preparing feeds and haynets Learning to drive a quad and trailer Yard sweeping and tidying Exercise of horses: Hand walking In-hand and groundwork training Lunging Ridden Schooling Ridden Hacking Opportunites for jumping and fast work The training you will be getting Level 3 Advanced Equine Apprenticeship Standard Training onsite in person and remote course work via online portal What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship A position as a Senior Groom within the equestrian industry. The opportunity to specialise for example; equine dentistry, equine physiotherapy or a farrier
