Job Description

Brook Cottage Farm, a BHS approved riding school, are looking for a passionate apprentice to join their friendly team. With over 30 horses, and lessons every day, there is lots to do and lots to learn. The successful candidate will be given the platform and support to develop their skills and launch a career in the equine sector.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Full training will be given by the team at Brook Cottage Farm Riding School, as well as continual support and guidance to gain the skills required from experienced equine training provider, Haddon Training. Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4) Maths (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Non judgemental Patience Physical fitness Other Unfortunately, neither accommodation for candidates or livery for their horses are available. Some previous experience with horses is desirable.
