Job Description

New Zealand event rider based just outside Godalming. We are a small fun team of four offering a fifth member to join the team and be shown the ropes into a professional international event yard.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will be working towards achieving your Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship. You will also complete your level 1 or 2 Maths and/or English Functional Skills qualifications if required. All training will be provided at the employers address with the employer and Haddon training. Where you'll work Slades Farm House Thorncombe Street, Bramley Guildford GU5 0LT

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4) Maths (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Team working Physical fitness Motivated Other The opportunity will require working outdoors in all weather conditions.
