Job Description

The Financial Administrator is responsible for handling the day-to-day queries and finance-related administration for a portfolio of clients. Reporting to the Client Manager, they work closely with the Financial Accountants and Senior Financial Administrators to deliver a high-quality service to their client.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Candidates will be required to complete the Level 3 qualification. If successful, they may be able to move onto Level 4 to complete the AAT qualification. Candidates will be required to attend college to complete the AAT qualification. The study will be completed by Kaplan, a leading provider in the UK, and can be done in the classroom or at home, whichever is preferred by the candidate. Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 6) Maths (grade 6) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Administrative skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Paperless office experience Other Should have 1+ years' experience working specifically in a UK accounting practice in an administrative role. Should be experienced in working in a paperless modern practice environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Xero, bookkeeping and payroll, with a good understanding of financial processes and control.
