Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Hair professional Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification Training delivered in-salon by JET Hairdressing Academy and Simply Hair Opportunities to attend extra practical seminars at JET in Basildon to achieve a Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) qualification and Functional Skills English and maths at Level 2 Where you'll work 15 THE VINEYARDS GREAT BADDOW CHELMSFORD CM2 7QS

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English and Maths (grade (Grade 4-9 or C - A*)) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Administrative skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Creative Initiative Non judgemental Patience Other Standing for long periods of time. Ability to multitask. Possibly at least one late night working in the salon. Work based learning apprenticeship. Would be advantageous to live within the local area to the salon.
