Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Training delivered in-salon by JET Hairdressing Academy and Stuart James Hair. Fortnightly practical seminars at JET in Basildon. Attending regular training sessions in salon and at JET Hairdressing Academy to achieve Hair Professional Level 2 qualification and Functional Skills English and maths at Level 2 (if required). Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English, Maths (grade 4-9) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Number skills Logical Team working Creative Initiative Non judgemental Patience Punctual Other Standing for long periods of time, ability to think on your feet! At least one late night working in the salon. Work based learning apprenticeship. Would be advantageous to live within the local area to the salon.
