Partners Hairdressing is recruiting for a Hairdressing Apprentice to join their successful team based in Poynton. Apprentices will receive training in all aspects of hairdressing and become a fully qualified stylists in a vibrant, exciting, and successful salon.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will train with Michaeljohn Training School, a multi-award-winning training provider with over 40 years of experience in the hairdressing and barbering industry. Our team of dedicated educators are highly skilled hair professionals who continue to work in some of the industry's most reputable salons. You will achieve Level 2 Diploma for Hairdressing Professional and Functional skills in Maths and English (if needed). Our academy €“ with 4 floors of salons and learning zones €“ is the ideal environment to learn hairdressing and barbering; you will attend one day per week on day release from your employer. Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths & English (grade 9 - 1) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills None Other This role will involve working with chemicals, heated equipment, and sharp scissors €“ we will train you to work safely and practically. If you are short-listed for this role, you will have to attend an interview with the training school before we send you to the salon. The role may include weekend work depending on your salon, and possibly one late night.
