Job Description

Based within the Vehicle Workshops Team at Central Depot in Dormanstown Redcar. RCBC operate a fleet of over 220 vehicles for a range of purposes including refuse collection, Clean and Green, property Maintenance and home to school transport. The Vehicle Workshop team are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all of the fleet vehicles.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will gain and develop skills in all aspects of motor vehicle, horticultural and related plant equipment repair and maintenance within the municipal domain, whilst working towards an agreed level 3 academic qualification in motor vehicle repair. You will attend Darlington College once day per week. Travel costs will be refunded by the employer. Where you'll work Fairway House Limerick Road Redcar TS10 5JU

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4/C or equivalent) Maths (grade 4/C or equivalent) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
