Job Description

We are offering an opportunity to join our busy, friendly team as a Horticulture Level 2 Apprentice, based in the Manchester/Stockport area. We will support you in learning a range of skills such as weed management, hedge cutting and tree removal. Other duties include: grass cutting operations using both pedestrian and ride on mowing machines.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Horticulture Level 2 Standard. Emergency First Aid: Level 3 award in emergency first aid at work. Pesticides: Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides Guidance OR Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides. Where you'll work Aston Avenue Manchester M14 7HN

Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade Grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent) Maths (grade Grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
