City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy is seeking a full-time Apprentice Gymnastics Coach. This role offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring gymnastics coaches to gain valuable experience and British Gymnastics Coaching qualifications within an established gymnastics club.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Reporting to the Head of Recreational Gymnastics, the successful candidate will: Gain experience coaching a wide variety of sessions across the club Undertake Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications in a British Gymnastics discipline Complete a Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification Where you'll work CITY OF NEWCASTLE GYMNASTICS ACADEMY BENFIELD ROAD NEWCASTLE UPON TYN NE6 4NU

About Employer

The academy is housed within the Benfield centre for sporting excellence adjacent to Benfield school. The facilities were designed to be of a size and flexibility to accommodate simultaneous working groups of gymnasts of different levels and disciplines in a structured development programme. The facilities enable quality delivery of the gymnastics element of the National Physical Education programme in partnership with Benfield School and City Primary Schools, and assist with their curricular and extra-curricular activities in gymnastics.
