Job Description

You will be working alongside professional Early Years Educators, within the setting while you gain workplace experience of supporting the care and development of young children. You will be learning how to provide safe, high quality care for children, meeting the individual needs of each child and supporting their development.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Support to achieve knowledge, skills and behaviours as laid out in the apprenticeship standard Support from an experienced assessor to assess work and practice Individual learning programme tailored to own needs E-learning, training and monthly tutorials specific to your apprenticeship Mentor and support in the workplace A minimum of 6 hours per week during paid time to be used for learning and development opportunities English and maths Functional Skills at Level 2 (if required) Support to achieve End Point Assessment At the end of the apprenticeship, you will obtain the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship Where you'll work 28-30 Priory Road Dunstable UK LU5 4HR

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: Maths and English (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Organisation skills Logical Team working Creative Initiative Non judgemental Patience Physical fitness Other *GCSE Maths and English grades A* to C or 4 to 9 are desirable. About Employer

We have been established as a nursery for over 30 years. We are situated in the heart of Dunstable, in a mainly residential area, in a large Georgian property. Our rooms are large and airy but stiil with a homely atmosphere. We have large gardens offering a wealth of opportunities for children to explore and play. We care for children from birth to 5 years, with 5 different age groups/rooms. Our aim is to give children the opportunities to learn and develop whilst in a safe, stimulating environment.
