Job Description

A Level 3 Light Vehicle Apprentice is required. This an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to work alongside qualified technicians where you will be fully trained in all aspects of maintenance and repair of light vehicles from routine servicing to electrical fault diagnostics, observing and assisting technicians and MOT's.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Motor Vehicle Level 3 Qualification (Motor Vehicle Service And Maintenance Technician - Light Vehicle) Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment Servicing - working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure vehicle running at optimum performance Maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU's 2014 F-gas regulation.
