Your duties will include: Reading drawings Using offline programming Setting jobs Running jobs Quality inspections The training you will be getting EAL L3 Extended diploma in Machining (Development Knowledge). Apprentices will attend college for two days per week over two years. This may be revised in Year 2. Training, assessments and observations will also be completed in the workplace. After a period of foundation skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications. Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence). After a further period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) “ Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
