Joining the team at Turbocam as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be focused, self-motivated and have ambition to succeed. Your areas of learning on the job will be: Learn to perform maintenance tasks in line with SSW (Safe system of work) Attend breakdown repair on Turbocam equipment Perform preventive maintenance on the CNC lathes & mills, along with additional plant and equipment Use various calibrated instruments to check machine tool function Inspect and document all operations per TURBOCAM procedures as stated in the Quality Manual Comply with established safety practices and be proactive in communicating potential safety hazards to the Safety Representative The training you will be getting As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with Turbocam, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach. Your level 3 programme will include, a level 3 engineering work-based qualification delivered by PETA, and day release for 24 months to complete a level 3 BTEC technical certificate.
