Kinetrol offer a double apprenticeship award. The first being through college day release and NVQ assessment up to level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing and opportunity to continue to HNC or Foundation degree level. The second is an internal Kinetrol Apprenticeship Award. This is awarded for successful completion of mechanical practices completed in our production facilities including tool room and R&D departments alongside drawing office C.A.D and design office experience. Kinetrol has a wide range of engineering applications within its manufacturing facilities. Die Casting: 7 machines ranging from 40 tonnes to 800 tonnes, casing in both Zinc and Aluminium alloys. Full Toolroom & Research and Development Facility Turning: Manual, CNC single spindle, twin spindle, twin spindle twin turret. Milling: Manual, CNC Horizontal and Vertical machine centres. Robotics & Automation: Currently running 4 fully automated robot cells and developing more using our in-house automation team. Wire cutting, Spark eroding, grinding, flat bed, cnc & manual. CNC programming in ISO, ISO Fanuc, & Hiedenhain languages. Kinetrol's aim is to produce skilled mechanical engineers who will be able to help continue and develop our highly respected quality orientated business into the future. Applicants must be independent in terms of travel to and from work & college, college travel allowance will be given by the company. The training you will be getting Apprentice will be attending weekly classes at Farnborough College of Technology. Throughout the apprenticeship the learner will achieve the following qualifications: Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) Level 2 Diploma in Machining (Foundation Knowledge) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Machining Level 3 Diploma in Machining (Development Knowledge) The apprentice will also earn a certificate for achieving the Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
