Enhance your early years career with this fantastic opportunity working in a day nursery environment and caring for children. You will be supporting their learning and development through play and activities. A great role with lots of opportunities for development.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in childcare. Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning. You will gain an Early years Level 3 qualification and a Paediatric First aid qualification with a view to continuing onto further levels of apprenticeships and training. Functional Skills in maths and English if required. Training will include paediatric first aid qualification. Where you'll work Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe Droitwich WR9 0AH

This is at least 30 hours per week and national minimum wage for apprentices.

Now, with 5 children between us and two successful careers in education, we are delighted to be able to provide this opportunity for the next generation of children, to explore their creativity and immerse themselves in their own world of role play fun, using our detailed sets and extensive props to inspire their own narrative of play. We also run our own successful childcare provision, where we spend every day facilitating learning through play. So we know how children love to make believe and how beneficial it can be to their developmental progression. Children can learn from ANY activity and we are skilled in providing endless opportunities, based on their interests and the life experiences that influence their play. As parents and also having lived in Worcester all our lives, we are very aware of the lack of variety - but particularly of indoor play facilities - locally. This has inspired us to provide a service that is not only fun, but also a rich and meaningful play experience, that can be enjoyed by the local community. We have created a flexible, €˜pop-up' setup that can be operated both indoors and outdoors, at various locations, publicly during a session or can be privately hired
