Job Description

This role is to support the QC Team by; ensuring all testing cultures are pure, manufacturing agar, and calibrating/maintaining QC equipment such as pipettes and the autoclave. The role also includes the responsibility to carry out site-wide environmental monitoring and finished product testing of Sensititre manufactured products.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Apprenticeship Certificate in Laboratory Technician Level 3 Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Analytical skills Initiative Patience Other We can't consider you if you are under the age of 18 upon starting due to Health and Safety as this position will require working with live bacterial cultures. We also can't consider you if you already have significant laboratory experience.
