Job Description

We are a company working on various chilled water plant, air conditioning and refrigeration systems installed in office blocks, hospitals, manufacturing plants and data centres. We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice with an interest in problem-solving. We are offering a competitive salary for the right candidate - Bristol based.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Upon successful completion of the End Point Assessment, you will receive a Level 3 in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning & Heat Pumps Technician Engineer Apprenticeship Qualification Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) Training will start in October at ChanniCool Training Services Ltd in Plymouth. It will be a weekly block release All apprentices must achieve a €œLevel 2 Certificate in F Gas and ODS Regulations Category 1€ as this is a legal requirement under the EU F Gas Regulation 517/2014 to work on equipment containing Fluorinated Refrigerants. Employers who recruit candidates without English or Maths at Level 2 or above must ensure that the apprentice achieves this standard prior to the completion of the Apprenticeship. This standard is designed to meet the professional standards of the Engineering Council for registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) in partnership with the Institute of Refrigeration and CIBSE.
