Job Description

Hardworking person required to join our team as an apprentice motor vehicle technician. We are a busy family run business and offer full training in all aspects of motor vehicle maintenance and repair. The apprentice will attend college on a day release basis to acquire the recognised qualifications.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work At the end of the apprenticeship training it is expected that the apprentice will receive their Level 3 qualification and become a qualified Vehicle Technician. Apprentice training will take place at our workshop near Chester City Centre The apprentice will be released for college study one day a week at a local college Functional Skills in English and maths if required Where you'll work Ben Whitehouse Trading Estate Parkgate Road Chester CH1 4AY

Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4) Mathematics (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Administrative skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Creative Initiative Non judgemental Patience Physical fitness Other Working on vehicles can be dangerous, overalls and steel toe cap boots must be worn for safety.
