Drive your career forward with this exciting apprenticeship opportunity. Our Service Technicians/Mechanics are involved all aspects of maintenance and repair from routine servicing to complex diagnostics and repairs to our customers vehicles.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centre. Our expert trainers will guide you through the training programme using a combination of e-learning, classroom learning and practical application. In the workplace, your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained through the remote sessions and at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre. This is a fully rounded training experience where you will build life skills that last and gain both apprenticeship qualifications and brand certifications. As an apprentice, you will also have the opportunity to attend Outward Bound, a personal development week which supports with developing resilience, confidence, and teamwork skills. On successful completion of the three year programme, you will receive the following: Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle)Certificate in Automotive Refrigerant Handling Brand specific certifications Where you'll work Citygate Volkswagen Van Centre St Albans North Orbital Commercial Parl 15-16 Napsbury Lane St Albans AL1 1XB
