Job Description

Ability to deal sensitively with young people, and to form constructive relationships with them, colleagues and outside agencies. Ability to work constructively as part of a team. Effective verbal communication and ability to communicate with people and demonstrate an understanding of sensitive and complex issues.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work The qualification is a €˜Children & Young People Practitioner' and is designed for workers within children and young people's services This qualification is delivered in the workplace and is the equivalent of a Level 4 QCF. The ability to undertake relevant training as appropriate.
