OVERVIEW
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 will be held in December 2023, and the tentative dates will be available in May 2023. The test is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law colleges across India. It is taken once a year in offline mode. The CLAT exam is a national-level exam for students looking to pursue 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes in 22 national law universities and over 60 affiliated law schools across the country.
EXAM PATTERN
The CLAT 2024 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode with MCQs from the comprehension paragraph. The two-hour exam will comprise 150 questions for the UG level and 120 questions for the PG level. Each correct answer will get one mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Let us explain the exam pattern in detail.
